Wine for Dudes picks you up from your hotel in Margaret River for about six and a half hours, and the tasting fees at the three wineries are included in the ticket. The wineries are small producers, and the operator says you will often meet the owners or the winemakers.

The part people remember is the wine-blending session: you learn how a blend is put together, then make your own and drink it with lunch. Lunch is a spread of gourmet woodfired pizzas and sides at a winery restaurant, with a drink. The afternoon adds a local olive-oil or chocolate producer, and the day finishes at a micro-brewery, where the beers are at your own cost.

Included: hotel pickup and drop-off, the lunch, the wine-blending session, wine and food tastings, and live commentary from the guide. Not included: drinks at the last brewery, and bottles to take home.
